About Fyzical Cordele

At FYZICAL Cordele, we know aches, pains, and other limitations can be extremely discouraging and frustrating. Our team of physical, occupational, and speech therapists are here to help you reach your goals so you can keep doing the things you love.

Our History

Previously known as Southwest Georgia Rehab, Bridget Hathcock knew Southwest Georgia needed up to date therapy services and technology. With a passion for people and caring for the community, Southwest Georgia Rehab was opened. 

During 2019, Southwest Georgia Rehab became a part of FYZICAL in order to ensure our value of providing the most up to date care to our community of Southwest Georgia. With treatments such as Vestibular Rehab, Dry Needling, Spinal Orthopaedics, Parkinson's BIG/LSVT, Aquatic Therapy, Lymphedema, Pelvic Floor Therapy and MORE, we are dedicated to providing you with the treatment you need close to home.

Our Approach 

Our bodies operate on connections: our bones to our joints, our muscles to our bones, and our nerves to our brain. When one of these connections isn't working properly, our body will adjust to try and make up for it. Those adjustments often cause pain, aches, and tight muscles - even though the root cause may be from somewhere else in the body.

For example, pain in your lower back could be caused by your feet, or pain in your knee could come from your hip. We look at your whole body to connect issues and understand what the root cause of your pain is to give you the greatest chances at fully recovering. We also focus on prevention. That means not only are we going to help you get rid of your pain, but we'll help you prevent it from ever coming back again! 

We also know you're not the exact same as anyone else. Because of this, your plan of care will be completely individualized and unique to you. Considering your symptoms and different lifestyle factors, your physical, speech, or occupational therapist will work with you to create a plan that will help you achieve your goals as quickly as possible.
