Ryan Riccitelli, PTA

Ryan brings an eclectic professional background to FYZICAL: from Pennsylvania to New York to Chicago, across the healthcare, advertising, and marketing industries. Though his career began on Madison Avenue, Ryan felt inspired to follow a more rewarding path. A combination of family illness and witnessing the events of 9/11 evolved into a passion for physical therapy.

Ryan completed his career transition in the PTA program at College of DuPage, where he also tutors Anatomy & Physiology students. He has formed therapeutic relationships based in safety and trust with geriatric, neurological, vestibular, rare disease, telehealth, and high-performance athletic patients. Ryan has developed proficiency with SoloStep harness, ShuffleBoard, slide board, trampoline, Rifton Tram, LiteGait, wheelchair, and assistive device equipment.

Outside the clinic, Ryan considers community involvement an essential component of family life with his wife, Krista, and ‘tween’ daughters Siena and Sadie. He is involved with his daughters’ swim and soccer teams, and holds various volunteer positions within his church. Ryan also enjoys travel, film, theater, cooking, and feeding his family’s Harry Potter obsession.
