Kale Isaacson PT
Owner of FYZICAL Therapy & Balance Centers Albuquerque. Kale received his physical therapy degree at University of New Mexico in 1988. Kale is a bilingual native of NM with over 30 years of clinical experience in orthopaedic and manual physical therapy. He has been in private practice since 2003. Kale is married with 2 children.
Megan Wong PT, DPT Certified in Vestibular Rehabilitation, Certified in LSVT Rehabilitation
Megan Wong is a New Mexico native who joined FYZICAL Albuquerque in September 2018 as a Physical Therapist. She received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2016 from the University of New Mexico. Prior to going to UNM, Megan received her Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science at the University of Arkansas where she played soccer and gained valuable insight to sports specific injuries and rehabilitation. Megan has worked in a variety of settings including inpatient, skilled nursing facilities, and outpatient. Megan has a special interest in neurologic injuries including Parkinson's Disease, post concussion syndrome and vestibular/balance training as well as functional strengthening. She is continually expanding her knowledge by attending courses and loves that Physical Therapy is a field where learning happens on a daily basis! Her favorite thing about being a therapist is helping people return to levels of function that they did not think possible.
Deja Netz DPT, PTA
Déjà joined FYZICAL Albuquerque in August of 2018 after completing a DPT bridge program in Galveston Texas in April 2018. Prior to this Déjà worked as a PTA for the UNM Hospitals for 5 years after graduating from San Juan College in Farmington, NM in 2012 with her associates of applied sciences in physical therapy. She achieved her bachelors degree at UNM in 2009 in the field of exercise science. She has been a licensed massage therapist since 2004. This led to her interest in human anatomy, physiology, and pathophysiology and straight into physical therapy. She explains “massage therapy is where it all started for me. I wanted to change the world for the better, making people happy and healthy, one person at a time”. She got married recently and is now a stepmother of 2 boys. She enjoys spending time with family, and horse back riding in the mountains.
Marilyn Bigney LPTA
Joined FYZICAL Albuquerque in 2007. Marilyn received her Physical Therapist Assistant degree in 1991 from Lehigh County Community College in Pennsylvania. Prior to that, Marilyn was employed as a PT tech for 20 years, focusing her education and clinical skills on myofascial release therapy, in particular, treatment of TMJ and neck disorders.
Jené Courtney PTA
Jené joined FYZICAL Albuquerque in May 2012 as a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education/Biology in 1987 and her Physical Therapist Assistant degree in 2011. She has been a licensed Massage Therapist since 2009. Jené’s favorite things about being a PTA are helping people heal and educating her patients in improving their overall health. She has previous experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant for three years and as a Massage Therapist for four and a half years before coming to SWOPT. Jené is a Gulf War Veteran and served seven and a half years as an officer in the United States Army. Away from the clinic, Jené enjoys fly fishing, cooking, reading and skiing.
Steve Luster PTA
Steve Luster joined FYZICAL Albuquerque in June 2013 as a Physical Therapy Assistant. He received his PTA degree in 2013 from PIMA Medical Institute. Prior to going to PIMA, Steve has been a certified Physical Therapy technician since 1997 and has been working in the outpatient physical therapy field for over 20 years. Steve chose to enter to the medical field following a lower back injury in 1996. His favorite things about being a PTA are seeing a patient return to their “New 100%” and helping patients with the healing/recovery process. Steve has a special interest in the manual therapy aspect of physical therapy as well as skeletal alignment and strains. He is continually expanding his knowledge by attending courses annually allowing the creation of customized, comfortable, and state of the art treatment plans for his patients.
Brandon Gore PTA
Brandon Gore joined our team here at FYZICAL Albuquerque as a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant in August of 2016. Brandon has been in the healthcare field for many years, working in Fire/EMS and Equine Therapy. He gained an interest in physical therapy after being a certified personal trainer and corrective exercise specialist.
Jacob Thomas PTA
Jacob joined the FYZICAL Albuquerque team in 2018. He graduated from CNM's new PTA program in December 2017. He gained an interest in Physical Therapy after bringing his sister and father to appointments and he loves to be in the outdoors. Outside of work he enjoys mountain biking, hunting, and playing soccer.
Kristen Gonzales is front office manager. She graduated New Mexico State University with a degree in Sports Medicine and Athletic Training Education. She has over 15 years of experience in the orthopaedic setting. Kristen has one son. Kristen oversees 3 additional front office personnel in order to assure exceptional consumer service.
Mary Isaacson is co-owner and head of the billing department. Mary is a registered nurse with over 20 years of experience as a NICU Nurse and Nurse Case Manager. Mary oversees 3 additional billing personnel in order to provide quick and accurate consumer service.
