Tips for Kickboxers
Kickboxing is a stimulating sport that originated from martial arts. Although it involves a lot of kicks, it also incorporates full body movements that include punches as well as elbow and knee strikes.
As with any other sport, conditioning and proper form can help prevent injuries and this is where a Physical Therapist can assist you.
BE INSPIRED
If you’re suffering from constant pain, it’s time to respond to it by working with a Physical Therapist who can help you overcome your discomfort.
MOVE WELL
Understanding Cubital tunnel syndrome
Cubital tunnel syndrome develops due to an injury or pressure on the ulnar nerve at the point where it crosses the inner edge of the elbow. It mimics the pain that is felt when “hitting your funny bone”, which is actually the sensation of hitting the ulnar nerve. If you’re experiencing this type of discomfort, which can also involve numbness and tingling in the ring and little finger, a Physical Therapist can help.
