Parkinsons Therapy
What is Parkinson's Disease?
Parkinson's Disease is a progressive neurological disorder that affects movement. It is caused by the degneration of dopamine-producing neurons in the brain, which leads to a shortage of dopamine. Dopamine is a neurotransmitter that helps control movement. The symptoms of Parkinson's disease can include tremors, stiffness, slowness of movement and difficulty with balance and coordination. While there is no cure for Parkinson's disease there are some treatments that can help including physical therapy!
