Wow, July flew by like a whirlwind!
We were thrilled to celebrate with so many of you during our Patient & Community Appreciation Event last month. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us — your presence and generosity made the day truly special! Additionally, the More Life Community Center (MLCC) was deeply touched by your donations, and we’re already looking forward to next year’s celebration.
As we head into August, the back-to-school rush is officially underway, and our schedule is staying full. To help you stay on track with your Plan of Care, we strongly encourage you to schedule your visits in advance — this helps ensure you get your preferred appointment times.
We totally understand that plans can change. If something comes up and you need to cancel or reschedule, just let us know at least 24 hours in advance so we can offer that spot to someone else. To help keep things running smoothly for all our patients, we’ve updated our cancellation and no-show policy: late cancellations will now have a $45 fee, and missed appointments without notice will incur a $95 fee. Of course, we know emergencies happen — just give us a call as soon as you can, and we’ll work with you. If you're not able to reach us live, no worries — just leave a message.
As we announced last month, we’re super excited to have Abbie Dickman, our new Doctor of Occupational Therapy (DOT), join the FYZICAL City Center family! Abbie has already brought incredible energy (and lots of additional laughter) to the clinic. With her on board, we’re proud to now offer both Occupational Therapy and Pelvic Health & Wellness services — another great way we’re growing to better serve our community. We also remain committed to providing excellent care through our existing Vestibular Rehabilitation, Vertigo, Dizziness, Balance, and Orthopedic services offered by Susan Woodruff.
To support Susan, you may see some new faces around the clinic periodically. These are PT Assistants helping us temporarily as we grow, giving us time to find another full-time Physical Therapist who fits into our culture and shares our commitment to excellence in serving the community. The PTAs will join us from another FYZICAL clinic on a short-term basis. The PTAs will also allow Susan to take some well-deserved time off to decompress, enjoy the mountains, and spend valuable time with family. You’d be surprised what I have to do to convince Susan to take a vacation! Please rest assured — Susan will remain your therapist.
I appreciate your patience as we search for another amazing DPT to complement Susan and Abbie. I refuse to hire someone who isn’t the right fit — for us or for you!
