Debra graduated from the Oregon College of Oriental Medicine and has been licensed since 1992. She became a clinical educator in 1997 and served on the Acupuncture Advisory Committee and as an Investigations Consultant for the Oregon Medical Board. Dr. Mulrooney has also sat  on the Opiate Taskforce for Multnomah County and held a Chair position on the Tri-County Coalition of Community Health Clinics. 

Debra worked in public health for 10 years and directed the opening of the Integrative Medicine Department for Central City Concern in 2000. Debra taught Integrative Rounds at OHSU Richmond Center in the Family Medicine department and, as the Associate Dean of Clinical Education, had oversight of the Providence Infusion Center and Legacy Good-Samaritan Pain Management programs for the Oregon College of Oriental Medicine. 

Specialties: Back and neck pain, shoulder and hip pain, osteoarthritis pain, headache, postoperative and neurological pain, chemotherapy side effects, and mild-moderate symptoms of opiate tapering.
