Computerized Dynamic Posturography (CDP)

The CDP test evaluates the three sensory components of the balance system (vision, somatosensory, and vestibular) for deficits that may be contributing to your imbalance or dizziness symptoms. The test measures movement (or postural sway) under six different conditions where the floor and visual surround move both independently and simultaneously. This test also includes a test of central motor systems that analyze how your brain talks to your muscle to help your body react to changes in balance.

In addition to balance assessments, there are a multitude of treatment options within this platform. This state-of-the-art equipment is unique to our clinic in central Iowa!
