Understanding Occupational Therapy
After your evaluation, your occupational therapists will help you to adapt to your environment and offer guidance on specialized equipment or devices to make it easier for you to perform activities in your home and at your workplace. Your OT will also guide individuals working or living with you on how they can help you achieve your goals.
Our experienced team at FYZICAL De Zavala can help you achieve your goals of performing all activities, including your daily activities, such as eating, cooking, cleaning, and dressing, and more advanced activities—such as driving and using machinery—with ease. It time to get back to doing the things you love!

Benefits of Occupational Therapy
Occupational therapy helps you do the things you need and want to do. It will help you adapt to your environment, decrease your pain, improve function, and enhance your overall well-being and quality of life.
Our OT Program treats a wide variety of conditions, including work and sports injuries, fractures, dislocations, hand and wrist injuries, nerve entrapment disorders, pre- and post-surgical care of nerve and tendon injuries, repetitive motion syndromes, and soft tissue contractures. We also help with fine and gross motor training, feeding and swallowing, and activities of daily living, such as grooming and dressing.
