Balance Testing
FYZICAL East Summerlin brings balance and neurological rehab to the next level by using their unique Computerized Dynamic Posturography (CDP) machine. This is a tool that is used to assess vestibular patients. The machine includes a screen with a projector. The patient will perform activities on a forceplate which will collect patient data from weight shifting to reaction time. The data collected from the CDP will give our therapists a general idea on how we want the patient to progress through therapy.
Utilizing state-of-the-art Computerized Dynamic Posturography (CDP), a technology originating from NASA, the highest level of diagnosis and treatment is accomplished for patients experiencing:
- Dizziness
- Balance Problems
- Motion Sensitivity
- Irregularities Walking or Running
- Motor and Sensory Control Issues
- After Effects of Concussion or Head Injury
- Single Leg Stance and Weight Bearing Problems
