Does Insurance Pay for Direct Access Physical Therapy?
Yes, Direct Access Physical Therapy is paid for by third-party reimbursors.
Does This Include Medicare?
Medicare will pay for the first evaluation and treatment appointment, and then a signed prescription of Plan of Care is needed.
How Long Can I Receive Physical Therapy Under Direct Access?
Under Direct Access, you can receive physical therapy for as long as your physical therapist deems necessary, up to the limits set by your insurance or payer.
