The physical therapist will then use a combination of tools, which may include cupping and hands on Treatments to help loosen tightness, wase pain and speed up the healing process. When the injury is ready, target stretching and strengthening exercises will allow the tissue to return to normal allowing normal function.

In addition to the above techniques, your physical therapist may also recommend specialized footwear. Well-developed orthotics with your personal needs in mind can make a huge difference in your experience of foot pain, improving your gait by supporting your arch and helping to alleviate pain with every step.
