With over a decade of experience in healthcare, Sebastian has built a strong foundation in patient advocacy, service recovery, regulatory compliance, and healthcare operations. As a Service Excellence Officer at Allegheny Health Network's Forbes Hospital, he has lead efforts to resolve complaints and grievances, ensuring alignment with CMS, PA DOH, OCR, and TJC regulations. He investigated patient concerns, analyzed feedback trends, de-escalating challenging interactions, and collaborating across departments to improve the patient experience. Sebastian also chaired the Patient and Family Advisory Council (PFAC), reflecting a deep commitment to amplifying patient voices.
Previously, he held key roles at UPMC Health Plan from 2009 to 2021, where he advanced from Medicaid Customer Service Analyst to Medicare Grievance Coordinator.
