Dr. Ashley Encarnacion, PT, DPT - Owner/Doctor of Physical Therapy
Dr. Ashley Encarnacion earned both her Bachelor of Health Sciences and Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Central Florida. She brings a well-rounded clinical background with experience in pediatric physical therapy—working in both school and outpatient settings—as well as geriatric care in skilled nursing facilities (SNFs). She is certified in LSVT BIG, a specialized treatment program for individuals with Parkinson’s disease and other neurological conditions. Fully bilingual in English and Spanish, Dr. Encarnacion is passionate about providing inclusive, personalized care that meets the unique needs of every patient and family she serves.
Fun Facts:
Dr. Encarnacion is a proud first-generation American of Colombian descent. Outside of the clinic, she enjoys spending quality time with her husband and two children. A true book lover, she is the founder of her own book club and always has a new read or audiobook on her list. She’s also a plant enthusiast, loves staying active, and never misses a chance to dance—whether it’s at a family gathering or just around the house!
Kirenia Gomez - Client Care Specialist
Kirenia Gomez is a Cuban-born American who came to the United States at the age of 21. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Havana before continuing her education in the U.S., where she completed an Associate’s degree in Medical Billing and Coding as well as a Bachelor of Science in Allied Healthcare Management at NUC University. With her strong background in healthcare administration and patient support, Kirenia is dedicated to creating a welcoming experience for every patient who walks through the doors at FYZICAL Hunters Creek.
Fun Facts:
Kirenia finds her greatest joy in spending time with her daughter, who is her biggest inspiration. She’s passionate about helping people and loves connecting with others through kindness and encouragement. A music lover, she especially enjoys worship songs and finds them uplifting and energizing. Kirenia also has a deep appreciation for the arts—she enjoys visiting museums, exploring different styles of art, and finding inspiration in creativity. She loves reading and discovering new perspectives through books, and when she wants to recharge, one of her favorite places to be is at the beach, especially watching the sunset.
Fernando Encarnacion - Owner/Marketing Liason
Fernando began his academic journey at Universidad Iberoamericana (UNIBE) in the Dominican Republic before transferring to the University of Central Florida, where he earned a Bachelor's degree in Finance. After a brief time in the corporate world, he launched and successfully ran a swimming pool maintenance and repair business in Central Florida. He later sold the business to focus on fatherhood and continue pursuing his entrepreneurial passions. At FYZICAL Hunters Creek Fernando oversees operations and business development, helping ensure a seamless experience for patients and staff alike.
Fun Facts:
Fernando is a proud first-generation American of Dominican descent. He loves spending time with his family, especially while traveling to new places. A big fan of sports and fitness, he stays active with softball, running, pickleball, and golf. He also enjoys playing Dominoes and singing Karaoke!
