An Update from FYZCIAL Lake Forest

FYZICAL LAKE FOREST IS CURRENTLY CLOSED AND WILL BE OPEN Monday APRIL 20, 2020 FOR IN CLINIC TREATMENTSESSIONS.

ADAPTED APPROACH TO IN CLINIC CARE:

  1. We are requesting staff with fever, cough, shortness of breath to remain home.

  2. Patients with fever, cough, and shortness of breath are requested to call and inform us of your condition and cancel appts until further notice.

  3. We are allowing for extra time between each patient to clean and sanitize. All high touch items: magazines, coffee/tea station and candy bowl have been removed, and all touch surfaces are wiped down between patient contact.

  4. We will continue to offer “hands on” PT, but patients will be offered “non-contact” treatment as an option.

  5. Visitors, spouses, and caregivers will not be allowed to remain in the office and will be asked to wait outside until your appointment is concluded.

  6. There will only be two chairs in the waiting room. Although with our request for patients to wait in car, we don’t anticipate more than one patient in waiting area.

  7. Therapists will be wearing a mask during treatment sessions.

WE ARE NOW OFFERING E-VISITS OR TELEHEALTH:

An e-visit or telehealth is a video chat session consisting of a conversation regarding your current condition, administration of exercises in session, and a customized plan and education for the coming days or weeks.

  1. We are now offering e-visits via online video conference.

  2. To initiate an e-visit a patient must be a current patient, i.e. must have been evaluated in the clinic for their current issue.

  3. Medicare will cover e-visits for a total of 7 days from the time of the initial e-visit.

  4. Other insurance companies may cover e-visits. We will call your insurance to verify benefits for Telehealth or e-visits.

  5. A few insurances that we have already verified cover e-visits: Aetna, Anthem BC, and UHC.

  6. To schedule an e-visit you must request it by either calling our office (949) 716-1800 or emailing a request to lakeforest@fyzical.com.

  7. If you are unable to secure insurance coverage for a telehealth/e-visit we will waive the fee. Your health and wellbeing are important to us.

Again, we here at FYZICAL Therapy & Balance Centers want to thank you, our patients, for your continued trust and support of our patients, staff, and clinics.
