Dr. Wade Baskin, Owner PT, DPT, Cert. SMT, Cert. DN, Dip. in Osteopractic (Doctor of Physical Therapy)
Dr. Baskin or "Wade" as he prefers, is the first Doctor of Physical Therapy in Louisville and now the only specialist. He is an Osteopractor - also known as an Osteopractic Physical Therapy Specialist. Osteopractors are physical therapists or physicians trained at the highest levels in spine and extremity problems.
Dr. Baskin has been practicing Physical Therapy since graduation, Magna Cum Laude, from the University of Mississippi Medical Center in 1991. Prior to that he was licensed as a Registered Respiratory Therapist, and he has been involved in direct patient care since 1986. Having been awarded the Mississippi Physical Therapy Association's Distinguished Service Award in 1991, he has since been involved in Association Leadership both at the state and national levels. He is also a recipient of the American Physical Therapy Association's Award of Excellence. Moreover, he is a former World Champion and gold medalist in martial arts and understands what it takes to excel at the highest levels in both practice and sport.
At this time Dr. Baskin is involved with patient care, practice leadership, development, and expansion of new programs. He served as an elected officer in the American Physical Therapy Association's (APTA) Private Practice Section from 1999-2009, and he currently serves as an APTA Credentialed Clinical Instructor for the University of Mississippi Medical Center's Doctor of Physical Therapy Program and multiple Physical Therapy Assistant Programs throughout the state. He has been in private practice since 1993 when he established GT Physical Therapy (then known as Golden Triangle Rehabilitation).
Having been published in both text books and professional periodicals, Dr. Baskin continues to be actively involved in traveling, learning, and developing new and innovative strategies to improve patient outcomes in the out-patient setting. Utilizing cutting edge technology, hands-on techniques and the latest evidence, GT Physical Therapy has achieved an excellent reputation as a results-based practice where physicians and patients know that they are accessing the best physical therapy available.
When not in the clinic, you can find Dr. Baskin spending time with his children playing tennis, working out, or watching Netflix. Beverly Williams, Licensed Massage Therapist LMT #118
Beverly Williams, LMT#118, joined the FYZICAL Family September 2019, and will operate as an independent contractor through FYZICAL in Winston County.
Williams and her husband (Keith Williams) moved to Louisville in 2018 when Williams’s husband was appointed to the UM Louisville South Charge as an ordained minister.
As a Licensed Massage Therapist with 21 years of experience, Williams’s work experiences include the following: Licensed Massage Therapist at the Tupelo Wellness Center/Day Spa, the Alluvian Day Spa in Greenwood, MS, the Vitality Skin & Spa in Starkville, MS, Pro Nails in Louisville, MS, and a 2018-2019 OCH Regional Medical Wellness Connection.
Williams in her own words: “My husband and I have been blessed to live in several Mississippi communities due to the nature of his vocation and career. We feel the same in Louisville. I look forward to bringing new possibilities to the Winston County area by offering stress relief and healing through Therapeutic Massage. To share with you a little about myself, I am an experienced Licensed Massage Therapist of 21 years. I completed massage school in Oxford, MS, at the Van Winkle School of Massage in 1998. Along with Therapeutic Swedish Massage, Deep Tissue Massage, and Prenatal Massage, I also offer Hot and/or Cold Stone Contrast Therapy.”

Sagar Desai, Clinical Director LPTA, CKTP, BS
Formerly known as the famed mascot "Bully," Mr. Sagar Desai completed his BS Degree from Mississippi State University in 2010, then completed his Physical Therapy Assistant training at Ittawamba CC. As the former mascot for MSU, he remains active with the cheer squad.
Sagar, originally from Canton, MS, now resides in Starkville and works directly with Dr. Wade.
As both a Physical Therapy Assistant and a Licenced Kinesio Taping Practicioner, his experience in both fields has greatly benefitted GTPT's patients.
Sagar enjoys working with people, getting to know them, and helping them get rid of their problem. He enjoys his position as the clinic manager, as he has been working in some form of management since he was 15 years old.
He is directly responsible for making sure each patient gets the best treatment as prescribed by the Physical Therapist, and he ensures that the response to treatment is as expected. He enjoys using the procedures that generate immediate benefit and pain release while watching for the surprised look on patients' faces!
Anna Katharine Baskin, Marketing Director & FYZICIAN Liason
Anna serves as the Marketing Director for GT Physical Therapy. A recent graduate of the University of Mississippi, Anna received her bachelor’s degree in Integrated Marketing Communications under the Meek School of Journalism and New Media in May 2016.
As Marketing Director, Anna is in charge of advertising, social media and networking, website management, and public relations. Anna works to promote the face of GTPT, and its brand of rapid relief and return to action.
After serving as an event coordinator and campaign manager during her time at the University of Mississippi, Anna uses her experience to bring awareness to GTPT’s unique approach to physical therapy. As the daughter of Dr. Wade Baskin, Anna has seen GT Physical Therapy evolve from the time the clinic first opened its doors in West Point, MS.
Anna plans to work with the GTPT team on strengthening the clinic’s already solid foundation in promoting the specializations that are only offered at GT. She also works to stay in touch with current and past patients, as well as implement new marketing ideas and unique ways to connect to Louisville’s community.
Lisa Simpson-Luke, Administrator
Lisa has been with GT Physical Therapy since 1994, and she currently serves to ensure that all patients are well taken care of in the area of insurance. Moreover, having been a patient before, she will be first to attest that we are providing the best PT services available. Lisa has been instrumental in developing GT Physical Therapy's systems that provide a convenient and comfortable method of patient processing. She works hard to make the paperwork convenient and comfortable for all patients so that they can focus on getting the most from their therapy. Lisa works to keep you informed about your insurance up front so there are no surprises. Lisa has been in the medical field since 1983, and she has been a Certified Respiratory Therapy Technician, Director of Respiratory Services, and Director of Cardiac Rehabilitation. She is currently a member of the American Physical Therapy Association's Private Practice Section, and she has participated in numerous committees and projects. Lisa is the first Non PT to serve on the prestigious Private Practice Section's Program Committee.
Lisa is currently involved in practice development projects involving opening practices across the US that cater to orthopaedic and chronic pain populations using GTPT's unique Physical Therapy approach.
Misty Dempsey, Insurance Coordinator
Misty is GT Physical Therapy's Insurance Coordinator. As the Insurance Coordinator, she is responsible for each patient's insurance and payments. Misty is also one of the first faces that people see when they walk into the lobby, and she helps to make all patients and visitors feel welcome throughout their GT experience.
A local of Winston County, Misty began working at GTPT in the Fall of 2017. From patient care to paperwork, she has become a central part of the GTPT family.
Misty believes that GT Physical Therapy involves working with some of the "nicest people you will ever meet," and enjoys the postive atmosphere GT provides.
