Alex Matz MSPT, OCS
Alexander Matz is a graduate of the University of Miami Physical Therapy program, and founder and President of Matz Physical Therapy, now known as Fyzical. Alex is a member of a small group of distinguished therapists who have received the American Physical Therapy Association title of Orthopaedic Certified Specialist. He completed all courses of Physical Therapy Institute's Manual Therapy certification program and John Barnes' Myofascial Release program. Alex received Polestar's Pilates Rehabilitation Certification in 2002. He has lectured extensively on Spine and Sports rehabilitation. Alex has a Master's degree in Health Care Administration.
Ariel Ordonez PTA
Ariel has been a part of the organization since 2007. Currently, he is the General Manager of Fyzical Miami Beach and North Miami clinics. Ariel holds an Associate’s Degree as Physical Therapist Assistant from Miami Dade College and Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare Administration from Florida International University. Ariel has over 24 years of experience in the areas of sports medicine, orthopedics, as well as Acute care post-operative rehabilitation of hip/knee joint replacement and cervical/lumbar spinal procedures. Ariel holds a Polestar Pilates for Rehabilitation certification and has completed Master Balance/Vestibular Re-trainer levels I and II. Ariel has special interest in overall body fitness which encompasses science based nutrition with a balance mental, physical, and spiritual well-being.
Daniela Jubis Saca PT, DPT, CSCS
Daniela earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from New York University and her Bachelor of Science degree in Rehabilitation Sciences with a minor in Psychology from Armstrong State University. She is Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist and a member of the National Strength and Conditioning Association. Daniela has gained clinical experience in a variety of setting including outpatient orthopedics, pediatrics, acute care and sub-acute rehab. Daniela is passionate about helping her patients reach their goals, improve their health and wellness and assist them in returning to their functional activities.
Eloisa Silva PTA
Eloisa attended Nova Southeastern University where she earned her bachelor’s degree in Exercise and Sports Science. She is also a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA). After becoming a PTA, she started working with MedX clinical equipment where she specialized on initial strength evaluations and incorporating specific strengthening protocols. Eloisa is also certified in the use of Dynavision D2™’ to facilitate individualized training and treatment programs. She incorporated the Dynavision D2™ with specific patients for visual-motor and neuro-cognitive performance. She specialized in the role of the D2™ for concussion baseline testing, management and return to play decisions. In 2016, she started working at Fyzical where she has further expanded her education; she has trained and completed courses for balance and vestibular rehabilitation. In her free time, she loves to paddle board and participate in local running races. Eloisa is very passionate about her job and enjoys helping people towards a healthier and active lifestyle.
Junior Rodriguez PTA
Junior received his associates of science as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) at Keiser University in 2015. Junior also attended Lee University in Tennessee where he studied Education while playing baseball. He was named baseball 1st team All-American in 2010, then went to play professional baseball from 2010-2012 for the Tampa Bay Rays organization. Due to his sports background, he is passionate about sports and orthopedic rehabilitation. Junior joined the Fyzical Miami team in 2015 and completed Master Balance and Vestibular Re-trainer levels I, II, and III. He has experience in post-operative rehabilitation, wound care, and acute care.
Leah Kron DPT
Leah Kron graduated as a Doctor of Physical Therapy in 2015 from Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska. Prior to physical therapy school, she obtained her Bachelors of Science in Integrative Physiology from the University of Iowa, where she also worked as a research aide in the gait analysis lab. Leah has been practicing physical therapy for 3 years with experience focusing on orthopedic, pediatric, geriatric, and vestibular rehabilitation. She moved around the country as a travel physical therapist, ultimately settling in Miami and joining the Fyzical team in 2016.
