Dr. Stefanie Hernanez-Mendez PT, DPT

Stefanie Hernandez-Mendez, PT, DPT is a licensed physical therapist at our FYZICAL Therapy & Balance Centers location in Monroeville, PA.   

Stefanie graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Health and Exercise Science from The College of New Jersey in 2020, and went on to receive her Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree from Chatham University in 2023. During clinical rotations, Stefanie gained an interest in treating patients with cardiopulmonary deficits and hopes to participate in advanced educational opportunities to further assist her patients.   

Stefanie joined FYZICAL in March 2024 and has stepped right in to treating patients with an array of diagnoses. Stefanie is also bilingual, being able to speak both English and Spanish fluently, she has been an asset to the FYZICAL Family.    

Being originally from New Jersey, she enjoys learning about Pittsburgh and the surrounding areas from her patients. Stefanie has quickly grown to feel at home in Pittsburgh! In her free time, Stefanie enjoys hiking, thrifting with friends, and hanging out with her cat (Millie).  

Stefanie’s passion and empathy for helping others will ensure patients receive the best quality care and get back to the things they LOVE!
