Free Chronic Pain Forum to be Held in Naperville on March 14
NAPERVILLE, Ill. (March 3, 2015) – Fyzical Therapy and Balance Centers – Naperville will be hosting a free Chronic Pain Forum on Saturday, March 14 from 10:30 a.m. – Noon. Those suffering from chronic pain or their caregivers are invited to attend.
Chronic pain affects nearly 100 million people in the United States, according to the Institute of Medicine. Today, new therapies and technologies are available to assist those afflicted with chronic pain, which affects more people than cancer, heart attacks and diabetes combined.
Subjects for the forum include how to reduce pain using the Feldenkrais Method, improved sleep with EEG biofeedback and dietary changes (like adding dark chocolate) to reduce the impact of chronic pain.
The forum meets regularly the second Saturday of each month at the Naperville office, 1240 Iroquois Avenue, Suite 400. Each week features new guest speakers each session followed by an opportunity to discuss your experiences with other chronic pain sufferers.
