Understanding Inflammation

Inflammation is a natural reaction in the body that supports healing following tissue damage. However, excess inflammation makes it hard for the body to recover quickly from an injury. This means that healing cannot occur efficiently until the inflammation is resolved. Prompt injury management can help control inflammation, reduce its severity, and allow the next stage of the healing process to occur.

Meet our new Team Member! Sam Perez recently joined FYZICAL as an Occupational Therapist! Sam graduated from New Mexico State University with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology in 2019. Following, she obtained her Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from Texas Tech Health Sciences Center in Lubbock, TX. In her personal time, Sam enjoys running, spending time with her family, and watching movies! She is super excited to start with FYZICAL and learn from all the seasoned therapists!
