Dean Tahtinen PT, Owner
Dean is a 1989 graduate of Grand Valley State University. His continuing education has included courses in Pneumex rehabilitation, Micro Point Stimulation, Vestibular Rehabilitation, Medical Exercise Therapy, Pilates, Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CPRS or RSD), Graded Motor Imagery, and Holistic Therapy. He believes that you are a person, not just the injured area. Please beware, he is a frustrated stand-up comedian, and you may be subject to corny jokes while being treated!
Laurie Severn LPTA
Laurie is a 1985 graduate of Delta College University Center in Saginaw, Michigan. She has worked in various settings including cardiac, pediatric, orthopedic, home care and out-patient care. Laurie has a soft spot in her heart for helping the geriatric population. She realizes how each person is unique and enjoys giving guidance to nurture her clients into becoming as healthy and strong as they are capable of being. Laurie enjoys spending time with her family. She has been married to her husband Mike for 28 years and has two wonderful children, Mandi and Shane. She loves all the activities Northern Michigan has to offer. Mary Lee Registered Health Information Technician
Mary is a 1978 graduate of Ottumwa Heights College (Indian Hills Community College) in Ottumwa, IA with an Associate Science Degree. Her specialties include medical coding, billing, insurance verification, record analysis and documentation specialist. Mary also works as our Customer Service Representative, helping our patients navigate through the paperwork and scheduling appointments with a smile. We want our patients to know we truly care about how they are feeling that they are more than a medical record and an insurance payment. Our goal is to successfully get each patient healthy, happy and back to their life. Mary’s life outside of work involves over 20 years of volunteer service with Exceptional Riders Program. She is a Certified Therapeutic Riding Instructor with our local Exceptional Riders Program helping children and adults through Therapeutic equine-assisted activities and therapies for individuals with special needs. As a member of PATH (Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship International), Mary keeps her continued education current.
Anne Crick Clinical Services Representative
Anne is actively involved with the East Jordan Community. As a clinical service representative, Anne schedules patient appointments, performs record analysis and insurance verification.
