TREATING OLECRANON BURSITIS

If you’ve noticed pain and swelling near the tip of your elbow, you may be suffering from olecranon bursitis. Physical therapy can be quite beneficial for olecranon bursitis, helping to speed up recovery and manage your symptoms effectively. Your physical therapist will use a variety of treatments, including manual therapy, exercise modalities, and education to avoid repetitive stress on your elbow.

 

Welcome Dr. Kait Hambel to FYZ Powell

Kait grew up in Toledo, Ohio and played collegiate volleyball at Walsh University while pursuing her Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science (2017), and her Doctorate of Physical Therapy (2020).  Her clinical experience consists of treating various patient populations, including:  neurological diagnoses, orthopedics, chronic pain, athletes at all levels, balance/vestibular disorders, and post-operative, with a specialized certification in dry needling.  She loves working with her patients to achieve their goals and build personal relationships, while also promoting a healthy lifestyle.  Outside of FYZICAL, Kait loves working out and spending time with her husband (Chase), two boys (Brooks, Bowen) and Aussiedoodle (Blue).  Kait is excited to meet you and get your therapy journey started!
