BACKGROUND
Rachel is a Colorado native who grew up in Denver. She enjoys all the typical Colorado activities including hiking, backpacking, biking, rock climbing, skiing, snowshoeing, and hanging out at a local brewery. So typical.

EDUCATION
Rachel received her Bachelors of Science from the University of Oregon, her Masters in Human Anatomy from the University of Colorado, and her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Arcadia University. She also was a licensed EMT for four years.

FAMILY
Rachel is engaged to her partner, Nick, who is a pediatric dentist. They have a cat named Henle and many (MANY) house plants. Together they like to spend their time in the mountains, playing board games, and cooking.
Rachel has worked on many unique projects around anatomy education including one that was featured in National Geographic in 2019. She has extensive training in the cadaver lab and has taught gross anatomy to various students over the years. She has performed some unique dissections including removal of the entire brain, spinal cord, and eyeballs - all still attached in one piece. She is passionate about hands-on learning and empowering others to understand their own bodies better. After all, no one knows your body better than yourself.
