Maintain, Simply Maintain

We all know that the holidays are coming up, and we might be tempted to indulge in unhealthy food. However, we can make small changes to our diet and schedule so that it is still possible to stay healthy during the holidays.

 

One way is by maintaining our weight. This can be achieved through healthy habits that include drinking a lot of water as this will help give us more energy, exercising for at least an hour a day and eating healthier food alternatives like fruits or vegetables instead of ice cream. Other ways include sleeping for most of the day (naps are not bad), drinking less alcohol and avoiding the temptation of unhealthy foods. Remember, moderation is key!

Maintain, Simply Maintain Contest

It’s all about maintaining your weight over the holidays! The holiday challenge is back and we are here to help you!

 

Wellness Members, Staff, and Physical Therapy patients are welcome to participate! The more participants, the BIGGER the $ pot. 

 

Here's how to participate:

1. Initial Weigh In

Weigh-in before Thanksgiving (Nov.14-22 at our clinic and add $10 (cash) to the pot. Declare your goal to lose weight/maintain OR gain weight/maintain.

 

2. Final Weigh In

Weigh in after New Years’ Day – January 3 - 10, 2023.

 

3. What You Gain

If you maintain, you get your $10 in cash back and a piece of the pot. Everyone who participates wins better health!
