Can you sense it? New classes are in bloom and they’re ready to help you refresh your mindset and get you moving. Every new goal you crush will brighten your day and give you a newfound confidence about yourself. Investing in your health and wellbeing is the best decision you can make, and that’s why we are offering more classes to help you live an independent and fulfilling life. 

 

Our classes are specifically tailored to help with hip and shoulder mobility and function. We focus on functional movement such as walking and stretching that will help you stay active for life. The Hips for Life classes will continue through the month of May. In June, we plan to start offering a Shoulders for Life classes so be on the lookout for more details on how to sign up!

 

We also invite you to join us every Wednesday for an afternoon walk. The weather is nice, and it’s a great opportunity to get some fresh air and move your body. Plus, it's always more fun to walk with friends.

 

We believe in building a community of support around our members so they can be the best versions of themselves. We value you as members of our community and look forward to continuing this journey with you!

WELLNESS WALKS - WEDNESDAY AFTERNOONS

We want to invite you to join us every Wednesday for an afternoon walk. 

 

Did you know that walking just 20-30 minutes a day can help improve your physical and mental health? Studies have shown that walking can reduce stress, improve mood, aid in weight loss, and even boost creativity.

 

So come out and join us every Wednesday at 12:15pm! It’ll be a great way to get your body moving and take advantage of the benefits of walking.

Hips For Life - Tuesday and Friday Classes

Based on the overwhelming feedback, we are continuing our Hips for Life classes through the months of April and May. All you have to do is Sign Up and get ready to Work! Classes are limited to 10 people. Sign-up is available in advance. 

 

How will I benefit from this class?

People with low back pain, bursitis, arthritis, and hip replacements may see the most benefit from the Hips for Life program. In some cases, but not all, pain in the knee or low back may be a result of a hip problem. Even those who may not experience pain, but have difficulty getting up from a low-sitting position, crossing their legs, putting on shoes, or trouble sleeping comfortably on their sides could have a problem originating from the hip. The exercises and techniques that you'll learn in this class will help increase strength and mobility of the hip.

 

How to Sign Up:

  • Classes are held every Tuesday and Friday from 12:20-1pm 
  • A sign-up sheet is available at the front desk.
  • Please speak to a Client Care Specialist to sign-up.

Each class is comprised of the following:

  • Education of the hip
  • Mobility exercises
  • Home exercises and application
  • Workout atmosphere
 

New Classes Are in Bloom - Shoulders for Life

We are excited to start offering a new class, Shoulders for Life! This class will be focused on helping you build strong back and shoulder muscles  to improve your shoulder mobility.

 

Classes will be held on Mondays and Thursdays from 5-5:40pm. Classes will begin in June. More details to come on how to sign-up.

 

Get one month free of membership when you refer a new member!

We're excited to offer our members a chance to get one month free of membership when they refer a new member. It's an incredible opportunity to share the joys of working out with your friends, and it's even better when you get rewarded in the process.

 

Here's how to do it:

  • Tell a friend what you love most about the FYZICAL Fitness & Wellness center
  • Invite them to our "Intro to Wellness" event on Friday, June 2 from 2-5pm
  • If your friend becomes a member, you will receive one month free of your three-month enrollment

Our research shows that having a workout buddy helps keep motivation high and results even higher. That's why we want to make sure that all of our members have the chance to take advantage of this great offer. 

 

We hope this offer encourages more people to join us in getting fit and having fun!
