What is VNG Testing?
VNG testing is used to assess and analyze vestibular functionality. A trained member of our team will guide you through a series of tests and assessments focusing on eye movement and vestibular pathways. Ocular Motility and Caloric testing are used to highlight perceived weaknesses in the vestibular system. VNG test results will vary and further treatment from your physician or audiologist may be recommended.
Balance Disorders and Vertigo
Dizziness, loss of balance, light-headedness are several reasons to consider seeking VNG testing. These detrimental side effects can impede your ability to complete daily tasks. Balance disorders and vertigo (experiencing spinning or motion when remaining still) can also lead to increased loss of balance and even falls for older adults. Our Physical Therapists can strengthen your lower-body muscles to counteract feelings of imbalance.
