Whiplash & Head Injuries

Whiplash is a neck injury which occurs from quick back-and-forth movement of the neck. Whiplash often occurs from car accidents. Common symptoms of whiplash include neck stiffness, neck pain, headaches, shoulder pain and dizziness. Treatment for whiplash will include manual therapy, dry needling, cervical joint manipulation, traction, cryotherapy and heat therapy and corrective exercises including cervical joint position awareness drills.

Another common cause of a car accident is a head injury. A head injury results from a blow or jolt to the head or body. Mild head injury symptoms typically include headaches, nausea, fatigue, communication problems and dizziness. Treatment for a mild Traumatic Brain Injury (mTBI) includes a combination of our strength-building program and vestibular therapy.
