While often associated as an isolated risk to our 65+ populations (impacting 1 in 4 seniors annually), falls pose an inherent risk to all aging generations. With prevention top of mind, FYZICAL South Jones offers Fall Risk Screenings to the broader community and our patients.

One we assess your risk for falling we will build an exercise and balance training program to help reduce your risk of falling. Older adults who engage in physical activity reduce the risk of falling and injuries from falls. The best programs are multicomponent—they include more than 1 type of physical activity, such as aerobic, strengthening, and balance—and are the most successful at reducing falls and injuries.

For anyone who has fallen, the fear of falling again can be overwhelming, and may lead to an associated loss of independence and social isolation. Falls can be prevented and you can get back to Loving Your Life again!
