Meet our Physical Therapist

Alex Constantino

Background and Education

Alex is the lead Physical Therapist at Fyzical Therapy & Balance Centers in Scottsdale and an Arizona transplant from Chicago, IL in January 2022.  He recieved his bachelors of Science-Athletic Training degree at Northern Illinois University in 2014 and immediately went on to further his education at NIU where he pursued and obtained his Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree in 2017. When not treating patients, you can find Alex staying active in his passion for all things sports and outdoors notably golf and hiking.

Experience

Alex has expertise in treating all generalized orthopedic conditions as well as extensive experience in treatment and rehabilitation of orthopedic post-operative procedures. He also has experience working with athletes of all ages and in the sports medicine field from his undergraduate Athletic Training degree as well as with continuing education through the Titleist Performance Institute. 

Care Approach

Alex believes in utilizing evidenced based practice in helping his patient's overcome their injuries or impairments to maximize their overall quality of health. His approach for each patient focuses on an analysis of the full body to determine where the source of dysfunction is that is ultimately leading to an individuals impairment or discomfort. He understands that there is not a "one size fits all" approach to treatment, and thus utilizes all his acquired skills in manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, movement analysis, and patient education on an individualized basis for optimum results in his patient care.

- Bachelor of Science - Athletic Training

- Doctorate of Physical Therapy

- Titleist Performance Institute level 1 and level 2 Fitness Certified

- Brookbush Institute Human Movement Specialist

- Dry Needling Certified

- John Barnes Myofascial Release Certified
