I want to find the cause of my patients’ musculoskeletal problems. I utilize a lot of manual therapy techniques in my sessions including instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization, joint mobilization, cupping, dry needling, myofascial release and various massage techniques. I am a very 'hands-on' type therapist."-Ruth, PT

Ruth has been a leading practitioner in the industry for over 30 years.  She has successfully trained and rehabilitated countless dancers including her own daughter who was selected to compete in the International Youth America Grand Prix in 2008 and again in 2010 after extensive dance-specific conditioning.  Her daughter has since danced professionally for renowned companies such as Ballet West, Aspen Santa Fe Ballet, and Sacramento Ballet as well as commercial work with various rap artists.

Ruth has spent countless hours learning about proper pointe shoe fitting, selection and modification at both Capezio and Gaynor Minden in New York City.  She is an expert at assessing true turn-out and making recommendations to make every dancer a more skilled mover without injury.  She works closely with dance educators and physicians to determine when a dancer is ready to return to dance after injury and is able to give advice on how to modify class activities for an injured dancer.

"I love the performing arts, especially dance. I also love golf and travel.I love to empower people through teaching them how to care for themselves and live a better life with a stronger, pain-free body."
