Dr. Christoper H. Mulvey, Doctor of Physical Therapy PT, DPT, CLT
Driven to understand how the body works.
"Even as a kid, I was into sports. I was also interested in why my wrestling teammates had to be taped up. What was the reasoning behind it? Also, I was banged up often and spent time in the care of healthcare professionals, one of whom pointed me toward physical therapy. I started as a physical therapy assistant, and I knew right away that I wanted to be a physical therapist."
Committed to making a difference in the lives of others.
"What I love about this profession is the ability to positively impact the lives of others. I've worked with thousands of different people from professional and Olympic athletes to kids and grandmothers. I've been a manager for one of the world's largest rehabilitation companies. I've helped resolve some of the most challenging cases. Through it all, it's about people. It's about you needing to get back to your life and me doing everything I can to get you there."
Following a vision of excellence in physical therapy.
"I founded this practice on a pure vision. I believe in providing the most appropriate and most successful physical therapy possible. That means following the evidence and using the therapies that will get results. It means using the hands and hard-earned knowledge of true therapy professionals to achieve your goals. It means providing a place where excellence nurtured and enabled, for therapists as well as patients. I'm not in this business to provide therapy. I'm here to make a difference, and I'm proud to say that, here, this is well under way."
Dr. Virginia S. Reed, Doctor of Physical Therapy PT, DPT
Turning personal experience & interest into a career of getting to know & helping others.
"I injured my knees playing basketball in high school, which led to reconstructive surgery of my ACL ligament. It was physical therapy that not only got me back on my feet but that got me back on the basketball court. I became competitive again, and I had a physical therapist to thank for that. Also, I really enjoyed the interaction with the physical therapists, how they talked with me and made a personal connection. I thought to myself, 'This would be a great career. I could do this."
Combining credentials & heartfelt dedication.
"I've always been driven to do things well. I also want the people I'm caring for to feel they can rely on me and to understand that I know how to make them better. This is an important part of why I pursued and earned my doctorate in Physical Therapy and became certified in the treatment of vestibular disorders. But it's still an emotional endeavor, too. Helping you get back to doing what you want with the best possible function is a human undertaking. I've learned that being personally committed and truly 'present' for you are keys to great results."
Using methods that have been proven to work.
"You are an individual, and your condition and recovery are unique to you. It takes understanding, devotion and compassion to do what's right for you. But it also means using therapies that work. Here, you'll hear a lot about evidence-based therapy, because it's central to your successful rehabilitation. I like fixing problems, and I'm going to use the therapies that will truly get you there."
