Kelsey Jachimowicz PT, DPT
Kelsey has a passion for helping individuals of various age groups and populations to not only return them to their prior level of function but to optimize their abilities to help them achieve even better outcomes.
Originally from the suburban Philadelphia region, Kelsey earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from University of the Sciences (now part of St. Joseph’s University) in Philadelphia. She has always been involved and takes pride in trying to help her community that she grew up in. Kelsey is always looking at innovative ways to help the clients in her community whether its in the clinic or at a community event.
Kelsey believes in patient-centered care and creating a therapeutic alliance with her patients to achieve positive rehabilitation outcomes. Kelsey utilizes evidence-based practice and creates individualized treatment programs tailored to meet each of her client’s goals.
Kelsey has worked closely with the sports, orthopedics, and neurological populations and enjoys educating her patients on fall and injury prevention, restoring function, and creating a safe and fun environment for everyone. Her treatment approach involves Functional Movement Systems philosophy, an array of manual therapy techniques, and a human performance mindset.
Kelsey specializes in Outpatient rehabilitation of neurological and vestibular disorders, balance, orthopedics, sports-related injuries.
Kelsey received her Certification in Vestibular Therapy from the Duke University School of Medicine which was co-sponsored by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA). She went on to complete a Vestibular Residency Program at a local clinic.
Kelsey received her Certification in IASTM (Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization) - a manual therapy technique that used specialized tools to detect and treat soft tissue restrictions in muscles tendons and ligaments - to improve mobility reduce pain and restore function.
Kelsey’s passion about overall well-being led her to earn the prestigious Kaehler Core Certification which is a unique flexibility and strength training delivery system that helps the user to improve movement control of the spine and optimize strengthening and flexibility in the extremities being exercised. This can be used as a stand-alone strength and conditioning system or as a foundational compliment to all other strength and flexibility training modalities.
In her leisure time, Kelsey’s interests include hiking with her dog, bodybuilding, nutrition, and reading.
Kelsey believes that physical therapy treatment should not be limited to just healing an injury or pain but rather to improve the client’s overall well-being and independence by having a holistic view of one’s health and mobility.
Darshan Bhatt, PT, MS, DPT, MBA
Darshan is a Physical Therapist who believes that a client should leave a clinic feeling significantly better than when they entered the clinic.
Originally from India and after earning his Bachelor’s in Physical Therapy in India, Darshan came to the United States to pursue Master’s in Exercise Physiology at the University of Buffalo – State University of New York. He then went on to pursue his Doctor of Physical Therapy from Utica University.
Darshan was always an entrepreneurial person and to fulfill his ambition of creating a business that would help people feel better, he pursed his Masters in Business Administration from the University of Texas – Permian Basin. Soon after completing that, Darshan launched his first physical therapy company that helped clients, who were not able to receive physical therapy services in the traditional way, receive those services in a very convenient way.
In pursuit of helping even more people, Darshan became a part of the FYZICAL family of clinics as his mission and vision aligned with that of FYZICAL. With the extensive knowledge and training that the FYZICAL Brand brings, Darshan hopes to continue his journey of helping more and more people suffering with physical difficulties.
Darshan is very passionate about Neurological Rehab, Orthopedic Treatments, Male Pelvic Floor rehab among other specialties that he had received training during his career.
Darshan received his Certification in LSVT BIG program which lets him help people who are diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease and other movement disorders in being able to improve their mobility, safety and independence in a novel way.
Darshan received his Certification in Kinesio Taping which provides optimized stimulation, based on space, movement, and cooling which allows the body’s natural healing power to do its work.
Darshan has received extensive training in Male Pelvic Floor Rehab and has several years of experience evaluating and treating men with pelvic floor disorders.
In his leisure time, Darshan loves to spend time with his two lovely kids and his wife. Together, they love traveling and exploring new places. Darshan is an avid kayaking enthusiast who is always exploring new places to paddle.
Darshan believes that a good physician may add years to someone’s life BUT a GOOD PHYSICAL THERAPIST CAN add LIFE to those YEARS!!!
