“ I wouldn’t be overstating it to say that Mara Lund and her staff at Apex saved my life! I came in with severe back and leg pain that one surgery and multiple spinal injections hadn’t relieved. I was afraid that a huge back surgery with a 10-month recovery time might be my only alternative. Mara looked at my medical imaging, asked me questions, had me try some things, and said, “Ann, I don’t think all your pain is coming from your spine.” She first gave me hope and then worked with me to relieve pain, regain range of motion, and build strength. I am so much better and my quality of life continues to improve without surgery. I’ve always felt so well cared for at Apex, both as a patient and a person, and can’t recommend Mara and her staff strongly enough! ”

Originally a bone spur in my left heel brought me in and over the treatment cycle they have helped me identify and improve the pain in my heel, ankle, knee and low back and today we worked on some tightness in my spine. Every time I have been there Mara, the owner, has been on the floor working with me as a patient and overseeing other patients needs. She and her staff work as a team to take care of each patient, and so often I will get to work with one physical therapist as my primary healer and then several other staff on stretches, and treatment options. If you are looking for a good team to take care of what ails you, take time to go over to Fyzical Therapy and Balance Center to get yourself on the road to recovery! ”

I’m a retired physical therapy professional and the skills and techniques Mara and ALL of her staff use are top notch. They have helped me rehab successfully through a torn shoulder and a major spinal neck surgery. Alexandria, Mara, and Nancy have also treated my boys for injuries and they had nothing but good things to say. My husband even took time off from work to be treated; that should tell you how good they are! If you have never had dry needling done it is absolutely amazing. I personally have instant pain relief and muscle relaxation. I can’t recommend these guys enough and wouldn’t trust any other place with myself and my families care. Thank you! ”

The post-op work that the therapists here have done has been remarkable!  If you want good quality treatment from therapists who have great concern about your recovery and overall well being, this is where you want to go. ”

From dry needling, thermo/cryo treatment, heat prior to treatment, and so much more, no two treatments are the same! Highly recommend.
