SAFETY OVERHEAD SUPPORT (SOS) SYSTEM
Our track and harness Safety Overhead Support system allows patients to perform more challenging exercises without the risk of falling to promote quicker recovery. We use the SOS with patients of all ages and abilities, from fall risk patients to high level athletes, to maximize the benefits of their individual therapeutic care plan.
BALANCE PARADIGM
FYZICAL’s proven Balance Paradigm helps us identify and treat the causes of the patient’s balance impairments. Each patient’s program is individualized to provide a progressive series of challenges to improve their balance. Working with physicians to perform fall screenings and allow early identification and treatment of balance deficits also allows us to prevent falls and injuries in the aging population, improving longevity and quality of life.
VESTIBULAR ASSESSMENT
FYZICAL’s therapists receive advanced training from leaders in the industry to be able to assess and treat a variety of vestibular disorders including Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo and vestibular hypofunction. Our clinic uses Infrared Video-Oculography Goggles to record patient’s eye movements during testing to improve accuracy of diagnosis and treatment. Vestibular rehabilitation can reduce dizziness and vertigo symptoms and get patients back to their normal day-to-day.
REGULAR ADVANCED EDUCATION
FYZICAL supports our therapists ability to provide quality care by providing regular continuing education courses from world-renowned leaders in the field. There are additional opportunities to advance knowledge and skills in orthopedic, vestibular and balance, and pelvic health therapies for clinicians interested in specializing in those areas.
ONE-TO-ONE CARE
One of the biggest complaints about outpatient physical therapy clinics is that patients do not feel they are getting the best care when their therapist is seeing several patients at once. We prioritize our therapists spending one-to-one time with our patients for up to a full hour treatment session. Personal attention from our care team produces better outcomes and improved quality of care.
