Perfect Balance Physical Therapy has undergone a transformation, changing its name to Fyzical Therapy & Balance Centers. The name change is a result of a rebranding effort designed to mirror the growth of the organization while capitalizing on the resources of a national company.
While still locally owned by physical therapist Dawn A. Rouse, she decided Fyzical Therapy and Balance Centers offered her staff and patients access to experts in the field whose main focus is on increasing the quality of patient programs, therapy outcomes, total body well-being and prevention.
Rouse opened Perfect Balance Physical Therapy 15 years ago to promote healing, health and wellness in Transylvania County. Along the way, she was encouraged by Asheville doctors to expand her footprint and now has clinics in Asheville and Woodfin.
Rouse works in and maintains 100 percent ownership in her company, but this past year she decided to partner with Fyzical, a franchise that is “ therapist run and owned” and headquartered in Florida with more than 300 locations nationally.
Rouse’s clinics now have access to resources that provide top-notch support for patients and therapists. With the use of Fyzical’s proprietary educational and management programs, she hopes to provide better benefits for her staff and continue delivering high quality care using state of the art equipment.
What does this mean for patients? Fyzical Therapy & Balance Centers are now redecorating. Patients will begin to see new signs, new equipment and new health information. Fyzical Brevard now provides custom orthotics from Footmaxx, a full-body health analysis by BODYQ, overhead Solo Step rail system for balance patients and a class IV laser. Newly held monthly Wellness Talks are free to the entire community. Patients will continue to receive monthly newsletters, and also have easier ways of communicating with the ability to text the business number for questions, appointments, and updates.
