What is FYZICAL Home Care?

FYZICAL home care is a service where one of our highly-trained physical therapists comes to your home to provide you with rehabilitation services, usually reserved for patients who can't leave the house to attend PT, for example:

  • Your condition is acute or severe enough that leaving home becomes a health risk.
  • Your functional mobility is limited to where you cannot make the trip to the physical therapy clinic.
  • You have limited or no access to transportation to make it to your physical therapy.
  • You would prefer to have a private PT session at home.

If you suffer from any condition that causes pain or limits your functional mobility, you may benefit from seeing a physical therapist. And, if you are having difficulty leaving the house, one of our highly-trained Physical Therapists can come to you. Conditions that could require FYZICAL Home Care would be:

  • Post-surgical conditions like a total hip/knee replacement

How Do I Sign Up?

Through our website, you can schedule appointments in-person, online, or at home. However, if you are interested in Home-Care physical therapy, your insurance company can deny you coverage; This may happen if your insurance company determines that your condition does not warrant in-home physical therapy. It may also occur if you have not proven that you cannot leave your home or if leaving home for PT presents a significant burden. If rejected, you'll have the right to appeal their decision, in which case, you can contact our office to help you explain your case and navigate the appeals process.
