Cardiac Rehabilitation

Cardiac rehab is a medically supervised program designed to improve your cardiovascular health if you have experienced heart attack, heart failure, angioplasty or heart surgery.

Following a diagnosis of heart attack or heart failure, or after a procedure such as an angioplasty or heart surgery, participating in cardiac rehab is one of the best things you can do for your heart. Cardiac rehab helps you regain control of your health.

Cardiac rehabilitation is the main way you can decrease your risk of a second heart event. During your sessions of cardiac rehabilitation, you will be closely supervised and build your heart to a healthy function and ability to take on strain, such as during exercise or stress.

If you're interested in cardiac rehabilitation, contact your doctor to see if you are eligible for a cardiac rehabilitation program.
