Now Offering Laser Therapy at FYZICAL Therapy and Balance Centers Manassas!

Laser therapy is a non-invasive treatment that uses specific wavelengths of light to help reduce pain, inflammation, and promote healing in the body.
Laser works by stimulating the cells in your body, specifically the mitochondria, which are the powerhouses of the cell.  The light energy from the laser penetrates the skin and is absorbed by the cells, leading to increased production of adenosine triphosphate (ATP), which is essential for cellular function and repair.  This process helps reduce pain and inflammation, as well as to promote tissue repair and regeneration.  Research studies have shown that laser therapy can help reduce pain and improve function in conditions such as arthritis, tendinitis, and muscle strains
Laser therapy is used to treat a variety of conditions, including but not limited to:

 - Arthritis
 - Tendinitis
 - Muscle sprains & strains
 - Back and neck pain
 - Sports injuries
 - Carpel Tunnel Syndrome
 - Fibromyalgia
 - Peripheral neuropathy
 - Wound healing
A laser therapy session typically lasts 5 to 20 minutes, depending on the specific condition and area being treated.

The number of laser therapy treatments you will need depends on the condition being treated and your individual response to the therapy.  In general, a course of treatment may consist of 6-15 sessions, typically at a frequency of 1-2 sessions/week.

We are currently offering special introductory pricing for laser therapy sessions at our Manassas location.
