Donna Singer Specialist in Orthopedics, Osteoporosis, Balance PT, MPA
Donna has always enjoyed working with people, and when she was in high school she volunteered at Children's Specialized Hospital. She was assigned to the physical therapy department and was impressed with the way physical therapy was able to improve the children's quality of life. From that point on she was focused on going to school to become a physical therapist. When she applied to college she was accepted to Northeastern University in Boston where she was also recurited to play basketball. However, after a few weeks of practice she was forced to decide between staying on the team and choosing a different major, or remaining in the phsyical therapy program--she chose physical therapy. She made the right decision because she loves practicing physical therapy and doesn't remember the last time she picked up a basketball!
Over the years Donna has worked as a PT and Director of PT in several different Rehabilitation Hospitals, as well as Director of Physical Therapy at Monmouth Medical Center. In 1988 she opened her own physical therapy practice which is now FYZICAL Little Silver.
Donna has been active in the American Physical Therapy Assn. NJ Chapter for many many years. She has also been involved in SPUR, the Monmouth County handicapped riding program.
Donna has additional certifications with the Titleist Performance Institute to provide rehabilitation and performance enhancement services to golfers. She is also a certified Rock Steady Boxing for Parkinson's Coach.
When not busy at FYZICAL Little Silver Donna likes to travel-99 countries down and counting! She enjoys many sports, both as a participant and spectator, especially golfing and downhill skiing. She loves spending time with her three dogs (includiing Woody, her therapy dog and our director of public relations), as well as her 29 year old thoroughbred horse, Petey.

Dr. Erin Leahy Specialist in Neuro Rehab, Pediatric Neuro Rehab, and Orthopedics PT, DPT
Dr. Leahy's journey with us began when she was a Rumson-Fair Haven High School basketball star. While playing she experienced 2 ACL injuries which required surgery. Both times she came to our practice, which was Sports Care & Physical Rehabilitation at the time, for her rehabilitation.
After completing her Bachelor's Degree at Wake Forest University she went into the financial field. Realiziing this industry was not for her, she came to us and announced her desire to become a physical therapist based on her experience while in physical therapy with us. Erin then began taking the prerequisites required to attend PT school while at the same time working for us in a number of capacities--PT Aide, Front Desk Receptionist, and Gym Manager. During this same time, and over a ten year period, she served as a volunteer coach for the girls basketball program at RFH.
Once she completed her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree at Boston University Erin worked for Children's Specialized Hospital. We were then able to lure her away to come back to work for us as a physical therapist at Sports Care & Physical Rehabilitation. She then moved on to work at Monmouth Medical Center. Currently Erin works for FYZICAL Little Silver as a part time Per Diem therapist, it is a pleasure to have her back in the family.
In her spare time (of which she has very little between her part time per diem work with us and her part time position at the hospital) Erin enjoys spending time with her husband and twin nieces, traveling, sports of all kinds especially basketball, swimming, and skiing. In the summers she is so happy she lives at the shore as she is an avid beachgoer.
