Erin received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from University of Pittsburgh in April 2018.

Physical Therapy comes as a natural second career for Erin following her first career dancing and touring professionally with Hubbard Street Dance Chicago. Working with practitioners around the world to treat and prevent her own dance injuries exposed Erin to a wide variety of techniques and movement methodologies which inform her current practice. Academically, she draws on specialty knowledge gained during clinical affiliations in dance medicine, lymphedema and women’s health at UPMC Centers for Rehab Services. Prior to graduate school, Erin gained corporate experience working on the finance team at a culinary teambuilding company. In addition to treating patients, she will be utilizing her business skills to assist with Piedmont PT’s strategic planning and development.

Currently Erin maintains an active membership in the American Physical Therapy Association and its Orthopedic Section. A lifelong learner, she is interested in pursuing further training in manual therapy, functional movement analysis and running analysis.

Erin believes that successful treatment arises from thoughtful communication. She takes pride in listening to her patients' histories and ensuring that important details are factored into their care. Erin truly enjoys helping patients learn about their bodies by guiding them through movement on the path to recovery.

Lynne Marsh

Lynne Marsh
Receptionist

Lynne was introduced to Piedmont Physical Therapy when she was a caregiver to a woman who was a patient of the facility.  She was thrilled with the care and humor of the facility so much that when she had her first knee replaced, she automatically thought of Piedmont.

When she came back 10 months later, after her second knee replacement, the care and the ambiance was still the same so she took a chance and asked if they were hiring in the office.  Having worked at a couple medical offices and a DME office, she felt that she could be of some help to the office. Thankfully, it feels like a great fit.

Lynne enjoys several hobbies to occupy her free time such as walking/hiking (now that she has new knees) biking, reading, sewing and various handwork.  She also LOVES to spend time with her adult children and their families who, thankfully, live close by.  She and her husband Russ also re-enact the Civil War era.  They share their home with their Calico cat, Mac.
