Dr. Heather Popp DPT
Dr. Heather Popp has practiced physical therapy in a variety of settings including long term acute care, short term rehabilitation and outpatient rehabilitation. In June of 2015 she obtained her certification as a Neurologic Clinical Specialist. Her areas of expertise include neurology, geriatrics, pulmonary, pediatrics, aquatics and research.
Dr. Heather Popp is a licensed doctor of physical therapy in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. She received her doctorate degree in physical therapy and bachelor's in clinical science from Ithaca College in 2010. She is an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association and Neurology special interest group. Her vision is to provide exceptional physical therapy care and to promote health and wellness to her patients and the community.
Dr. Kaela McLaughlin DPT
Dr. Kaela McLaughlin is a licensed doctor of physical therapy in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. She received her doctorate in Physical Therapy from UMass Lowell in 2017. In 2014 she graduated with honors from UMass Lowell, earning her bachelors degree in Exercise Physiology with a dual minor in Psychology and Nutrition. She has experience in a variety of practice settings including outpatient, acute care, and most prevalently in vestibular balance rehabilitation.
Dr. McLaughlin specializes in working with patients with Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo (BPPV) and other vestibular dysfunctions. Her past experiences include working with state of the art technology including the Epley Omniax Chair, rotational chair testing, and sensory organization testing. Her vision is to provide excellent patient care in order to improve the quality of life for her patients.
Dr. Katherine Cavallaro, DPT
Dr. Katherine Cavallaro is a licensed doctor of physical therapy in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. After graduating Summa Cum Laude with a degree in Human Services from Northeastern University, she received her doctorate in physical therapy from UMass Lowell in 2018. She has experience in a variety of settings including outpatient neurologic rehabilitation, orthopedics, and acute care. She works with patients to set individualized goals in order to return to a healthy and active lifestyle. Her vision is to improve the overall quality of life in her patients through physical and mental health.
Danielle Britt PTA
Danielle Britt is a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. She received her Associate's Degree in Science from North Shore Community Colleges Physical Therapist Assistant program in 2017. She has experience in a variety of settings including inpatient acute care, and outpatient sports rehabilitation. Danielle has a background in sports orthopedic rehabilitation with extensive knowledge of therapeutic exercise biomechanics, and skilled manual techniques. She also spent time during college volunteering in a pro bono physical therapy clinic designed to help members of the community with Traumatic Brain Injuries increase their strength, endurance and balance. Her vision is to help her patients return to activities they love and enjoy.
Melissa Blackwell PTA PTA
Melissa Blackwell is a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant and received her Associate's Degree in Science from North Shore Community College’s Physical Therapist Assistant program in 2019, after working in Hospitality and Client Services for the past two decades. She also holds a Bachelor of Science Degree from Sierra Nevada College.
Since graduating, she has been primarily helping patients get stronger and improve their balance in vestibular and orthopedic clinics. Melissa enjoys working with patients of all ages and levels and loves utilizing her skills to improve patient function. Her passion is working hands-on with people, to help them to recover their independence and improve their quality of life.
Angela is the Client Care Specialist at FYZICAL. She is the smiling face at the front desk and the friendly voice on the phone. She joined New England ENT in 2016. Her responsibilities are vast including scheduling appointments, setting up new patients and verifying insurances.
Thalia is our PT technician and Client Care Specialist assistant. Thalia transitioned to FYZICAL from New England Ear Nose and Throat where she had been working since February in 2017.
Her bubbly personality and positive attitude keeps a smile on everyone's face. She enjoys hands on treatments and helping wherever she is needed. She is also bilingual in both English and Spanish and assists with translating as needed.
Anjay is a rehab technician at FYZICAL and our BodyQ ambassador. He is a recent graduate of Phillips Academy in Andover, MA. His future plans include attending the University of Florida in their Honors Program and eventually pursue a career in the medical field. In his free time, Anjay enjoys spending time outdoors.
