Vestibular Rehabilitation
Restore Balance and Improve Function with Vestibular Rehab
Your vestibular system plays a key role in maintaining physical balance and spatial orientation. When something disrupts this system, such as an inner ear disorder or a concussion, it can lead to dizziness, imbalance, and difficulty with everyday tasks. At FYZICAL Therapy & Balance Centers, we specialize in vestibular rehabilitation to help you restore balance, reduce dizziness, and improve your quality of life.
What Our Clients Say
What is the Vestibular System and How Does It Work?
The vestibular system, located in the inner ear, helps control balance by sensing movement. Small hairs called cilia are moved by microscopic calcium crystals when you sit, stand, or experience motion. The brain receives signals from these hairs, combined with input from your eyes and sense of touch, to interpret your equilibrium and orientation in space.
When the vestibular system is disrupted, it can lead to issues such as dizziness, vertigo, and poor balance. Vestibular rehabilitation works to retrain your body’s balance system to reduce these symptoms and improve overall coordination.
How Can Vestibular Rehabilitation Help?
Vestibular rehabilitation is a form of balance retraining therapy designed to help patients with motion intolerance, visual sensitivity, and imbalance. At FYZICAL, we use a comprehensive approach that includes assessment, evaluation, and customized balance retraining exercises to improve your balance function, visual motor control, and activity levels.
Our state-of-the-art balance machine and therapy programs have a 99% success rate in improving balance. We focus on helping your body compensate for inner ear disorders and regain stability and confidence in movement.
