MICROCURRENT POINT STIMULATION (MPS Dolphin Stim)

Microcurrent Point Stimulation (MPS) is a hybrid treatment that combines the principles of acupuncture and neurology with electrical stimulation. MPS applies concentrated DC micro stimulation to produce an 'acupuncture' response that 'releases' muscle tissue that had been impinging nerves and causing pain. In fact, the MPS procedure is nearly identical to acupuncture, with one exception: no needles!

Yes, MPS is non-invasive. In addition, MPS, because it is electrical stimulation - an accepted physical therapy treatment - is typically covered by insurance. Reimbursement for traditional acupuncture, on the other hand, may be limited.
