Meet Our Team

Beyond the degree and licensing required by law, our physical therapists are clinically educated and trained through FYZICAL. They are altruistic, waking up each morning wanting to help people get back to being the best versions of themselves. Our therapists are passionate about healthcare and making a positive impact on people’s lives.

At FYZICAL Frisco - Stonebrook you’ll experience an individualized, supportive approach to physical therapy. One that uses hands-on techniques and tailor-made exercise programs delivered by expertly trained and licensed physical therapists who work with you during your therapy sessions. We not only practice physical therapy, but we live and breathe it which results in high patient satisfaction.

Surya Nallamala, PT, DPT

Physical Therapist / Clinical Director
Surya is a physical therapist with over 14 years of clinical and leadership experience. He graduated from NTR University of Health Sciences in India with a degree in Physical Therapy. There, he worked in a large Neuro/Ortho specialty hospital and lead their outpatient, acute, and in-patient rehab care divisions for three years prior to moving to the United States in 2007. Surya completed his MBA in Healthcare Management from the University of Findlay and earned his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Touro College of Health Sciences in New York.

He has experience treating a wide variety of patient age groups
including high school athletes, adults, and seniors. His specialties include dry needling, vestibular rehabilitation, balance therapy, fall prevention, neurological conditions, and post-operative hip, knee, and shoulder rehabilitation.

Surya is passionate about encouraging and motivating patients to achieve their highest level of function in the least amount of time. In his free time, he likes traveling and visiting national parks with his family.

Elizabeth Ibarra, PT, DPT

Physical Therapist
Elizabeth ("Eliza”) graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from The University of Texas at Tyler in 2016 and went on to earn her Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from Texas Woman’s University in Dallas in 2019. Eliza’s areas of clinical expertise are derived from working in neurological rehabilitation, specializing in Parkinson’s Disease, vestibular dysfunction, and brain injuries (including stroke, traumatic brain injuries, tumors, encephalitis, post-COVID, anoxic brain injuries, concussions).

Eliza has certifications in LSVT BIG and integrative dry needling and she has received advanced vestibular training. She strives to motivate, empower, and restore hope in her patients to help ignite their desire to take control of their health and live life to their fullest potential by providing an individualized, whole-body approach to health, wellness, fitness, and rehabilitation.

Outside of the clinic, she enjoys non-contact boxing, CrossFit, weightlifting, running half-marathons, and hiking.

Kristopher Yanez, PTA

Physical Therapist Assistant
Kristopher is from Allen, Texas and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from Southwestern University in 2016, and from PIMA Medical institute as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in 2019. Prior to being a PTA, Kris was an intern at the United States Olympic training Center in Colorado Springs, worked as support staff in a fast paced outpatient orthopedic clinic, and was a fitness coach for people from age 5 to 65+.

Kris’ professional experience in recent years includes rehabilitating the geriatric population in the home health setting and assisting children in outpatient pediatrics. During his professional career, Kris has treated patients with a variety of diagnoses including orthopedic surgeries,
joint replacements, CVAs, TBIs, Cardio-Pulmonary Disease, and Parkinson’s Disease. Kris also has experience with pediatric patients including autism, down syndrome, idiopathic toe walking, developmental delay, and hypotonia.

When Kris is not at work, he is likely dreaming about snowboarding,
trail riding with his dogs Maverick and Cleo, country dancing, making bread, playing basketball, camping, eating BBQ, or actually snowboarding with his wife, Catherine.
