Spelled different because we are different!

Floyd & Sharon Saltzman

Floyd and Sharon Saltzman are the owners and operators of FYZICAL Therapy and Balance Center Lake Charles. Originally from Gueydan, LA, they settled in Lake Charles after completing physical therapy school. They are family oriented small business owners and deeply care for the health and wellbeing of their patients and community. Upon learning FYZICAL's motto "Love Your Life" and their focus on expanding services beyond what they had previously offered they jumped at the chance to launch this franchise in the Lake Charles community. FYZICAL's focus to "Love Your Life" attitude compliments their personal beliefs of loving their life, their community, and wanting to spread that message.

Lauren Grant

Lauren is a native of Lake Charles and graduated from McNeese State University with a BS in Health and Human Performance. She received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy at Texas Woman's University in 2010. Upon graduation, Lauren's first job was at Action Potential Physical Therapy (FYZICAL Therapy & Balance Center's former name) where she worked for several years specializing in orthopedics. She then moved to Clarksville, TN for 5 years, where she worked in various orthopedic settings primarily with veterans and military dependents. Lauren is happy to be back home working for FYZICAL again, continuing her love for treating orthopedic injuries.

Lauren is certified in Dry Needling and has a special interest in using this certification to treat neck pain, facial pain, and headaches. She has also attended numerous courses, focusing on manual therapy techniques and specialized exercises to optimize function, balance, and mobility.

When she is not treating patients, she is spending time with her husband, Brad, and their two children, Evelyn and Barrett. She enjoys watching LSU football and playing on the Calcasieu River at her family's camp.

Kimberly Vaussine

Kimberly is from Lake Charles, LA and loves the field of physical therapy. She attended both Louisiana State University and McNeese State University graduating in 2009 with a Health and Human Performance degree. She earned her doctorate degree from The University of St. Augustine in Florida in 2012. She treats all orthopedic areas and has specialized training with a passion for treating headaches, facial pain and post-surgical rehabilitation. She received her Dry Needling certification in 2015 and uses this technique to treat several diagnoses and injuries.

She also loves serving, meeting and getting to know the people that come to FYZICAL for therapy. She got into the field of physical therapy not only to help people on a physical level, but to rehabilitate them by getting to know them on a personal level. She develops treatments that not only improve pain and symptoms but also get patients back to the things they love and cherish in life.

Kimberly is married to Rudy Vaussine from Sulphur, LA. They have 2 boys, ages 5 and 7. They enjoy spending time at their camp in Toledo Bend, spending time with family and hunting for lizards and frogs.

Brandon Soileau

Brandon is from Ville Platte, LA and attended McNeese State University where he obtained a B.S. in Health and Human Performance. He then went on to LSU Medical Center in Shreveport where he completed his doctorate in physical therapy in 2021.

Upon graduating, Brandon joined our team and was trained in Balance and Vertigo through FYZICAL Therapy & Balance Centers® and has since then become certified in Level 1 Intricate Art Dry Needling.

Brandon enjoys sports, camping, hiking, hunting, fishing, exercising, playing cards, and spending time with his wife and 2 daughters. He is such an avid hiker that he began logging his hiking miles and has currently completed just over 300 miles across the United States and Canada.

Matthew Ezernack

Matt grew up in Sulphur, attended McNeese State University, and obtained his Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy at LSU Health Shreveport in May 2023. So far, he enjoys striving to make patients’ lives better at FYZICAL.

Matt is a professional in the PT world, but outside of work, fishing is his go-to activity. He is also newly engaged and will tie the knot soon! We are thrilled to have Matthew's energy and vigor in our FYZICAL Family as he starts his journey with us.
