Discover the Benefits of Cupping Therapy

Relieve tension, improve mobility, and support your healing.

Cupping therapy is a hands-on treatment used to help reduce pain, improve movement, and support the body’s natural healing process. It involves placing specialized cups on the skin to create gentle suction. This suction helps lift and separate tight or stuck tissues, allowing for better circulation and faster recovery. Cupping helps to increase blood flow, promote tissue healing, and stimulate the lymphatic system to help remove accumulated inflammatory chemicals from the area to reduce pain and inflammation.

Who Can Benefit from Cupping?

Cupping therapy may be a good fit for people who are experiencing:

*Muscle tightness or soreness
*Stiffness in the neck, shoulders, back, or hips
*Poor mobility or range of motion
*Chronic pain or tension from stress or overuse
*Athletic injuries or delayed muscle recovery

It can also be helpful for anyone feeling “stuck” in their movement—whether from sitting at a desk all day, intense training, or lingering tension that hasn’t responded to stretching or massage.

What Are the Benefits of Cupping?

Some key benefits of cupping therapy include:

*Reduced muscle tightness and pain
*Improved blood flow and circulation
*Faster recovery from workouts or injuries
*Increased range of motion and flexibility
*Decreased tension and stress in the body
*Enhanced effectiveness of other physical therapy treatments

What to Expect During Your Session

Cupping is a safe, controlled technique done by licensed professionals. During your treatment, you may feel a mild pulling sensation and warmth in the area being treated. The pressure can be adjusted to match your comfort level. Cupping can be done on its own or combined with other therapy techniques like stretching or manual therapy for even greater results. Cupping does result in circular marks on the skin, but these are not bruises—they’re a result of the increased circulation in the area and usually fade within a week. You may also experience soreness or swelling post-session, though these are normally mild. Most people feel more relaxed and flexible after their cupping sensations, and report feeling less stressed and tense.
