Jeff Igoe, 12 Years Post Concussion

12 years ago, Jeff experienced a concussion after being involved in a motor vehicle accident. Jeff sought medical treatment and has been seen by other Physical Therapists over the years with little to no improvement. After battling dizziness and vestibular symptoms since 2021, Shellie Tourtillotte shares her powerful journey to finally finding answers—and relief—at FYZICAL Twin City Bangor. Shellie visited the ER, her PCP, ENT, neurology, and two other physical therapists before traveling to Mass Eye and Ear. It wasn’t until she walked through the doors at FYZICAL that she began to see real progress.

Overcoming Vertigo: Hollie’s Journey Back to the Saddle

Hollie Hitchcock has always loved riding horses, but severe vertigo forced her to put her passion on hold. After trying multiple physical therapy clinics with no success, she found hope at FYZICAL Twin City Bangor. Clinical Director Renee Moran took an innovative approach—creating a simulated horseback riding experience in the clinic using a barrel, saddle, and VR technology to test and train Hollie’s vestibular system. After a stroke and brain tumor removal, Robert’s retirement plans to spend his days on the golf course felt out of reach. Persistent nausea and imbalance issues from a vestibular condition made even simple movements challenging—let alone walking the fairway.
Over the past six months at FYZICAL Therapy & Balance Centers, Robert worked closely with Dr. Renee Moran through a personalized vestibular and balance rehabilitation program designed to address the root cause of his symptoms. Courtney’s Comeback: A TBI Survivor’s Path to Independence
