Pediatric Physical Therapy

FYZICAL Shavano Park offers Physical Therapy to chilldren of all ages.

Our FYZICAL Therapists provide skilled evaluation and treatment for children to help them achieve independent and functional mobility skills and well as to recover from injuries or surgery. The evaluation consists of a parent interview, standardized testing, informal assessment, and age appropriate interaction to determine the child’s treatment needs.  Treatment sessions are individualized and focused on improving balance, postural strength, and motor skills. Home exercise programs are also provided to promote carryover of skills
